  The experiments dealing with the physical, chemical and mechanical properties of rocks, freshly mixed and hardened concrete are performed in this laboratory.

 

  Rock Mechanics Experiments

  1- Core sampling with the diameter of 1,1.5,2,3,4 in.

  2- Unconfined uniaxial strength of dry and saturated core specimens

  3- Direct shear strength

  4- Point load test

 

  Tests of Aggregates and Ballast
