Dr. Rouzbeh Nouhi Hefzabad
About Me
Dr. Rouzbeh Nouhi Hefzabad is an Assistant Professor at the School of Railway Engineering, Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST). He completed all his academic degrees (B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Applied Design – Dynamics, Control, and Vibrations at the same university.
He defended his Ph.D. dissertation in ۲۰۲۳ titled “Modeling and simulation of ۳D manipulation incorporating environmental effects using a piezoelectric cantilever based on the non-classical Mindlin theory” with an excellent grade of ۲۰. He was also admitted to both M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs through the Outstanding Talent quota and ranked among the top students.
His research interests include mechanical vibrations, contact mechanics, numerical methods, and finite element method (FEM). He has published numerous papers in prestigious international (ISI) and national (ISC) journals and has industrial experience, including collaboration with MAPNA Generator Engineering and Manufacturing Company (Pars). He also serves as a reviewer for the journal Mechanics of Advanced and Smart Materials.
